right now I'm thinking Minn is a loss. I know it's at home, but Minn can run it as good as Wiscy. Cobb got 145yds and 3TDs against OSU. Not to mention their defense isn't too bad, especially against the complete ineptitude that seems to be our offense right now.

Iowa - i think we can win. they are a Jekyll and Hyde type of team. so it's not unreasonable that we could win by 20 or lose by 20. But I haven't seen anything from their offense that says they will light up our defense like Wiscy did.

minny =Wisconsin lite
Iowa= bipolar

Minnesota could be the coffin game for Bo. Wisconsin is one thing but if the gophers get off AD will have to make a decision. or statement. can't use 9 wins when you started 8-1... with an easy schedule

It wouldn't surprise me if Cobb ran for 300 yds or more. Also, the Iowa players know they can win and win BIG now thanks to the Pelini meltdown last year in Lincoln against them. Both Minny and Iowa by double digits.

Nebraska's defense at this stage of the season is actually worse than they were last year, and it isn't because of the players.

If that happens, let's just hope that Bo pulls one of his infamous tantrums which will give the AD some leverage to fire him. As of right now without "due cause", we'd owe him a shitload of money.

Muschamp was pretty bad......

He didn't just lose big games........he lost like 50% of his games.

We all saw what kind of a coach Mad Dog is. Instead of coaching his players, he yells at the top of his lungs at every one of them that makes a mistake. It's to the point that they're so afraid to make any mistakes that they make even more of them. I can understand it if a player hotdogs after making a great play to draw an unsportsmanlike penalty, but what MD does is just plain ridiculous.

Also, I figured Gordon would get 150 yds or so, but over 400 yds rushing is unforgivable.

Not playing for a Conference championship but playing for a natty is backing in. Winning enough games to win your division is winning your division and playing in the CCG.

No getting your ass handed to you on a platter but still making it to the ccg because two other teams beat the team that spanked you is backing into a championship game.

You paint it how ever you want there is no way in hell we deserve to be in Indy unless we buy a ticket. If we are playing there it is because other teams got us there.

I don't know I would think hitting a referee with your hat and then daring himn to fire you would be cause but it got him a vote of confidence.
Eichorst doesn't have the balls to fire him for performance. The only way he will fire him is if enough boosters put their checkbook in their pocket and say if he's not done then they are.

That will take 7 wins or less IMO.

Even T.O. told HWSNBN that if he got to 8 wins he could probably work with that. That was with the knowledge HWSNBN had called him a "crusty old fuck".

What really sucks is that Nebraska is in line for 5 losses this year. Early this year, I predicted Nebraska may have 5 or 6 losses this season, but I thought that may have been the losses during the season, not counting a bowl game.

I guess I was smoking a bong full of reality, and you are right, that is too many for our program. If Nebraska loses the next two games, that makes five losses, do the math! I truly believe there's a 50/50 chance or better for two losses to come our way. We'll still be on the right track though according to Bo.

I will so LMAO if he goes (1-1) and finishes (9-4).

He's not going anywhere if he gets his 9th win on Friday. He wasn't let go last year for being (8-4) after Iowa, so a prior practice has been established that (8-4) is OK. The (8-4) should give him a winnable bowl game thus (9-4) again.

Would they let him go for losing the bowl game and going (8-5)?

That's the unknown IMO.

(10-3) is still in the cards too. That would break his 4 loss cycle.
