You forgot the Giants!!!
To be eliminated from the post season, you've got to be in it. Giants took the year off to give the Dodgers another chance to rep the NLW and, well...

We are talking about this year!!!!!
Of course that's what YOU would argue. If you didn't put those blinders on, the madness may set in. I applaud you for looking out for your health.

Well done, sir!

I have never been one to go back in the past. This year (the present) is the only year I'm concerned with!!

Nope. The OP said eliminated from the POST SEASON. Giants didn't make the post season, so they didn't blow it. :suds: The REIGNING World Series Champions have a proven track record of successfully advancing once IN the post season.

Goddamn right! Therefore, they are not choke artists in the POST SEASON

It's the small victories, dude! :thumb:

I can use that rationale for my Indians. Make me feel better about their shitty season. :D

3 of the more historic teams in MLB history all out of the playoffs. In fact the Cubs are the most historic team left this post season.

Again :dhd:

If they did that on purpose which I doubt, they were dumber than shit. I could have told you that the Dodgers was to weak to get past the first round and quite frankly I think they over-achieved to get in period. If they want to go deeper, they have to have the same players from year to year and get better with better hitters and defense. The team this year was not as good as last year's team

So you're saying they would do well with better offense and better defense?
