My biggest concern is health and continuity, Kemp coming back now is huge, I'm just a worry wart, seen too many times where the better team loses to a hot team in the postseason, this is the best line up we've had in yrs...

Last night's game was fantastic. Sure, we lost and there was no Dodgers offense, but who cares? Is it really a surprise that with 4 huge pieces (Crawford, Ethier, Kemp, and Ramirez) missing from the offense that the Dodgers weren't able to muster much?

Ryu threw a 2-hit complete game. On the road. That is huge.

If Ryu can pitch like that in the playoffs then I will be stoked.

The message that I'm trying to get across is that it doesn't matter if the Dodgers lose games like that. The most important thing right now is to get everyone healthy and ready for the playoffs. If that means giving Kershaw, Greinke, Ryu days off with Volquez, Fife, and Capuano then so be it. If it means the Dodgers lose those games, then so be it.

The magic number is 4. The Dodgers will win the NL West. There's no need to worry about losing games that include the likes of Nick Buss and Nick Punto in the starting line-up.

Frustrating tonight. Umpire Jim Joyce blows a call at the plate costing the Dodgers a run, and Ronald Belisario turns in another putrid performance essentially taking the Dodgers out of any reasonable chance to tie or win the game.

I'm expecting Nolasco to turn in a very good performance tomorrow and hopefully Mattingly is convinced by now that Belisario needs to stay in the BP and watch games with League, Marmol and Volquez. At least three of these four guys won't make the Playoff Roster.
