Best case, one of these guys turns out to be a franchise QB and the other one shows enough to net us a high draft pick.

Medium worst case, we pick wrong and the guy we traded becomes an elite QB while the guy we kept turns out to be only average (but we got a high draft pick out of the trade)

Worst case, both look average, we trade one for a lower round draft pick. The one we keep never turns into even a plausible starting QB AND the guy we traded for a 3rd rounder becomes the shit else where.

Bottom fall out worse... both are horrid, we cant trade either and we are drafting a QB in the top five next year. (least likely to happen of all)

San Diego didn't trade Brees, they let him walk for nothing as a free agent because they offered him an almost entirely incentive laden contract offer, which Brees declined. I think they may have got a compensatory pick, but nothing close to what he's worth. Miami and NO courted Brees as a UFA and he made the right call. The Fins ended up with the last years of Daunte Culpepper instead LMAO!


If our management lets either of these guys walk away for nothing as a free agent, I'm crashing the gate!

Of course you trade one of them. If Cousins plays well, I would expect at least a 2nd for either. Probably more like a 1st.

Yes they did and I said the day they did it they screwed up lol.
Brees had IT. Rivers is overrated and always, ALWAYS chokes went it counts.
