Shero is showing he has a lot of patience...a lot more than me. I just think his clock has run out here. This team needs some more structure, not to be baby fed. It's cool to have a coach you enjoy, that you can buddies with...winning with a coach like that is awesome. BUT WINNING is more important.

Other than the coaching staff, what I get from this presser is that there are a lot of changes coming, at least as a result of the cap. "Some changes are good, some are bad" "Have a lot of decisions to make".

Hopefully that means more than letting the UFA's walk. Might be time re-evaluate Kris Letang.

It has to mean big moves, maybe not trades, but it has to mean it. For the future of the team, he can't just let those guys go and still have the best lineup possible.


Also Shero just basically said MAF is staying. Can't simply go out and replace 40 wins a year.

i was thinking this earlier. Vokoun still has what 2 or 3 years of solid hockey in him? Unless they go for a Miller/Fleury swap. what is MAF contract status?

we know quite well the 40 wins a year is nice its the 16 after the regular ends that matters most. at least MAF has done that.

I love Shero, and trust him, but that isn't good enough.

He said he can't make decisions based on the millions of "experts" known as the media and fans. That's being responsible. I give reporters here props, they're asking great questions. But Shero's holding his own and saying there's plenty people on the outside don't see.
