Admittedly so....However, Mariota is perfect for Chips system, i do not know how you can deny that.

Because that's a foolish way to look at it. Who will be best against what the defenses in the NFL will do to our offense? That's what your offense has to be able to react to. And that's not Mariota. That's Brady, Rodgers, Luck and whole list of complete QBs, if you want to talk about "perfect." Did you watch the SuperBowl and did you see Brady shred them? Mariota will not shred that Seahawks D. The "perfect for the system" talk is incredibly naive. It doesn't matter what system we run if the ball doesn't get to the right place at the right time. NFL windows close way quicker, and NFL linebackers close way quicker on plays in front of them. Furthermore, if you think the running is going to be what separates him well that's a recipe for using our backup QB more.

People don't understand all the work being done behind the scenes. The Eagles traded for Bradford when it became clear that they would not be getting MM. Strange things can happen, but I believe Chip moved on from that idea weeks ago when he traded for Bradford.

I am so totally confused I don't know what to think about this draft and Chip. I don't like the #20 spot but a good player could fall. I don't trust Chip to make draft decisions but I hold out hope. I like Marriota, I don't like Marriota. Holy cow.

Little experience moving off his first read. Inexperienced in the pocket. I compared Winston and Mariota here after their head to head game. It was clear then which one had NFL ability and which one was made for the college game. Calling him raw is missing the mark. He's not that raw, he's actually pretty polished in that system he ran and we have plenty of similarities to it here, but he comes with a rather low ceiling and also has a low floor. I agree he'd be better here than elsewhere, but that's no reason to make a move for a guy.

Seriously? average accuracy??? 105 Td's and 14 int's...yeah clearly average accuracy....66.8 comp percentage yep very average. 42 td's and 4 int's his senior season....yeah this kid wreaks of average! Ya wanna say ya don't wanna mortgage the farm for Mariota that is fine, but don't say this kid is average....he is far from Average. Nick Foles had an average skill set. MM skillset is far above average.

Yup and the other 90% of the things said in that post. With such a narrow focus like that it's no wonder you think he's great.

He has the weakest arm of the 1st round QBs in this class. That's not even debatable even if that's the only thing you want to focus on and ignore everything else.
