His physical assets are certainly unparalleled at QB. A lot more to QB than physical tools however.

Not taking away from Purdy here but the Seahawks defense was trash and about 100 yards were off screens and such. You can't use ypg as a meaningful stat in this day and age. The numbers are mostly meaningless. Purdy has been very good but let's pump the breaks until we get a complete picture.

Points per game for San Fran, not yards per game. He had one solid playoff game throwing. I’ve heard everything since he took over. After a few games they will figure him out, he has a test now, and sit til he plays a playoff game. This and that and what’s happened this far?

Today is that day. The Cowboys defense is a really strong unit. They’re arguably the best group Purdy has played against.

Yup. I stopped arguing otherwise a few years ago. The difference is not as much as it is with some other postions, imo, but QBs today are better.

One of the reasons I can't get into the NFL too much, officiating is the main factor in outcomes way too often

I'm not even saying the officials are doing wrong, it just seems like the more camera angles they get the more doubt you can have about any catch that happens as a player is going out of bounds. The same is kind of true with a lot of plays at second base now in baseball. It used to be if the throw beat the guy to the bag and the fielder made the tag he's out, if the player beat the throw he's safe. Now you gotta watch it 10 times in slow motion to see if the runner briefly lost touch with the bag on the slide and if the fielder still had the tag on at that time.

Yeah he was good but it seems like today teams don't go into ground game mode in the snow... Seems like they pass just as much... Gloves make a huge difference today's day and age I suppose...

It's not so much the toss as it is the catch that's so much easier these days with the gloves. But offenses have the advantage in these conditions because they know where they're going and don't have to react on a dime.

Baseball umps are amazing.. Idk how they get it right so often as fast and close as some of those calls are.
