Sticking with my original predictions for the final 4 (posted in link above). Only change is Broncos will beat Ravens instead of Colts.



I'm not waiting around for the over analysis by the media..........here are my "sure to be wrong" picks:

Wildcard Weekend
Texans over Bengals (it will be very close)
Colts over Ravens (this one could get surprisingly ugly)
Pack over Vikings (not as close at Lambeau)
Hawks over 'Skins (RGIII doesn't finish game)

Divisional Round
Pats over Texans (close until 3rd quarter)
Broncos over Colts (early Colts lead; Manning comeback)
Niners over Pack (nail biter early; we gash them in second half)
Hawks over Falcons (Falcons choke again)

NFC Championship,
Niners over Hawks (if we lose, it will involve missed FGs)

AFC Championship,
Pats over Broncos (Manning turnovers, furious comeback falls short)

Super Bowl
Pats over Niners (I hope I'm wrong; Pats beat any NFC team they face)

I'm going out on a limb and saying the Ravens upset the overrated Bronocos.

Pats, Niners & Seahwaks all win (I hope I'm wrong about the Pats though).

I'm not as confident in Seattle because their best DL is now out, but I think thier D still has enough to handle the Falcons' O. And they're gonna run all over that Falcons' D.

I actually see the Falcons taking the Seahawks out with a severe home cooked beating. The Falcons have heard nothing but they don't matter because they can't prove themselves in the playoffs all year. They will come out focused and looking to shut up their critics early.

I just don't see the Seahawks winning 2 straight road games.

I think our game will be very close and it will all depend on the 1 quarter. If our offense and defense win the 1st quarter then we will the game. If they lose the 1st quarter though then we are in trouble. The longer we can stay in a rhythm and keep the Packers out of one the better our chances of securing the Win. Their is no doubt in my mind though that if they get rolling early we can not keep up with them in a shootout.

Was leaning on changing my pick to the Ravens but thinking about that Colts game they really didn't look that great especially on defense.

New England over Houston

Texans basically won because they weren't at terrible as the Bengals. They did nothing to suggest their last season woes have been addressed.

San Fransisco over Green Bay

Bye week is my X factor because I believe the 49ers looked worn out in the last couple of games so I think they'll come out strong with that extra week of rest and preparation.

Atlanta over Seattle

Tough pick on this one because I'm not sure which Falcons team is going to show up. The inspired one especially defensively against the Giants or the one that struggled against Carolina twice and the Raiders. Not to mention Seattle did look pretty beatable last week and if RGIII was healthy I think the game is far closer then what is was.
