2) Seriously who ever picked Gates first would have gotten him. When someone picks someone already taken we continue on with the draft. Of course we notify the person of the mistake once it's realized.

How either of them lasted to this point is amazing. We usually don't have oversights like this anymore. I would have grabbed either a while ago if I was playing a 4-3. And by either I meant Merlin and Lilly

It's unusual to get arguably the 3rd and 4th best defensive tackles of all time this late in the draft, but i'll take it.

Yeah, I considered one of them instead of Paul Krause, but I really like my DB's now, and I got zero love when I had Mean Joe and Alan Page as my DT's last time
