From what I saw, Clarkie had a distinct kicking motion, but that was before his skate retouched the ice and he was gliding forward. Then the puck hit his skate. Either way its a crock of sh*t.

had they ruled on the ice it was a good goal, it would have stood, there was no way once it went to toronto the call on the ice was going to get reversed.

it sucks, but had they not come out flat like roadkill in the 1st, never would have needed help from the officials.

2 things:

1. I agree that the fact it was waived off on the ice hurt us. Had it been called a goal I doubt they would have overturned it...at least I hope not.

2. JMac was so calm it sent me into a rage. I don't care if it is under 4 minutes to go and a penalty would hurt the team. Go nuts, throw some sticks or something. I was infuriated that his face was so devoid of emotion. I've had enough of him.

If Lou doesn't have any replacement for JMac, it explains why JMac is still here. In my opinion now is everything points for JMac firing. Lou at least has to stand behind the bench and prove that team is capable to resist and win more games, so available coaches would have positive feelings to get NJ job. Plus, some players would agree for trades to go here.
