Which beats every single thing Netflix is putting out. Netflix is old movies like Disney Plus, then propaganda films/documentaries. It started with how much money they made off of Making Murderer so they tripled down on propaganda.

Sure, there are flaws and it isn’t perfect. But at least the search button works on Disney + unlike Netflix anymore. Comcast on demand with commercials is far superior to Netflix.

Hell no I don’t work for Disney. But any rationale person cannot scroll through Netflix without 90% of their recommendations aren’t some propaganda bullshit. Which is so odd since all of the propaganda they try filling us with includes so much Hitler and Nazi documentaries. This isn’t a Disney + argument since there are issues as so much as an anti Netflix comment....so my bad.

I thought "cutting the cable" was supposed to save us money? What bullshit. The Balkanization of programming means that each streaming bill you pay only gives you a very limited range of choices.

We have Mediacom cable. It sucks, but the GF wants to watch Fox News, Hallmark Channel and one of those stupid real estate shows. None of the popular streaming services offer those.

Disney? Fooey. I'm not paying to watch cartoons.

Disney will be much better when they get the rights to all the Marvel content back.

Disney is great when bundled with HULU and ESPN.

But as of today it is not on par with Netflix but that will change IMO.

The way I look at Disney is great for families, Netflix is great for adult content. I don't think that will ever change.

I was buying it up ever since I heard the rumor a few months ago.

Their stock has been growing almost solely because of Disney+.

My daughter got stock as a gift from her grandparents (back then you got in free to their parks if you owned stock)

She has a nice chunk of change from it.

Disney+ does have a few quality things going for them show wise for sure.. Also as people mentioned it is much more user friendly to find things unlike Netflix

Netflix has been stepping up their game content wise its wierd a lot of shows/series I am liking on there are Spanish type written shows which is odd

Based on the writing/production values/entertainment from the Mandalorian/Wandavision/Falcon+WS, it's a really good start.
If they can maintain that quality, I'll keep watching.

But, as you mentioned, sometimes I just like to find an obscure foreign series on Netflix and hope to be surprised.
More misses than hits, but when it hits, those shows are really good.

Disney plus is Nintendo. Netflix is Sony. They're definitely aiming at different people.

I'm watching all of Star Wars and Clone Wars is interesting. I've also seen Moana, Mulan, Beauty and the Beast and Tangled dozens of times while the kiddo plays. Disney plus does what I want it to do.

If you watch TV like it's your job then Netflix provides so much more.
