For the most part the higher seeds 1-4 have dominated the seeds 5-8 and made lunch meat out of them. Very little of them were really competitive

Its only 1 game. As the road team your goal is to just 1 one of the first 2 road games...All 8 will have a chance to swing HCA in game 2 and I think 2-3 will

Houston is going to get swept in my opinion as Milwaukee will and Chicago Bulls as well. I think Memphis will put up a fight against the Clippers. I think the Lakers will hopefully do better.

Highly doubt the Bulls will get swept. Brooklyn played as good as they're going to play in the series and Chicago played pretty poorly. Chicago defense is not close to being as bad as they were last night. That is a 6 game series.

As for Milwaukee and Houston, It wouldn't surprise me if both get swept but I think both will lose in 5.

It is never a smart idea to judge a best of 7 series after 1 game where the home teams just held serve

Oh I know that - and some of them will tighten up the defense. I expect Boston to win the second game of their series and If the Lakers do take game two against the Spurs that is all they need for a fighting chance. The Lakers are not good enough to go down two games and fight back. Chicago, though is lunch meat and so is the Warriors with Lee out for the season(broken Hip in the first game) and Houston looks like they are lunch meat as sell.

Sure will be quiet (soon) In Lakers Roll Call, regarding the Playoffs!! But, Im sure TLF, will try to explain: "What Happened" like the CBS Boards: They couldn't handle the truth!!!

Well, for this year, just like the Lakers, I am not going anywhere. I already know the championship title won't be the Lakers. They will hopefully rebuild and be better prepared in October, so you might as well get used to us Lakers fans:clap:

I was hoping for a Grizzlies win - but the Clippers are better

lower seeds lose what, 99% of the time? It amazes me that so many Lakers fans think they can make the conference finals from the 7 spot.

It's one thing to HOPE and cheer for your team. It's another to be a homer that's dumb enough to believe a 7 seed will advance when none in history have. It's basically WHY they're a 7 seed.

Can they make the series competitive? Sure. Will they advance? Most likely not.

Agree. This is the type of nonsense we had to deal with at CBS. As I've been saying for the last week or so, LAL should be happy if they make it to a game 6 which I highly doubt if they lose tmr.
