lol they couldn't care less about the Jets. Bill loved Tebow coming out of college. Tebow spent 3 days up here with the Bill before that draft. McDoosh, same thing. He moved up so Bill couldn;t take him.

Our morning meeting today was focused on the company wide memo going out next month, informing our more than 1000 part time employees that they will no longer be allowed to work more than 25 hours per week.

The reason? The company has decided that it will not pay the benefits now required to be paid by employers with 50 or more employees to all who exceed 30 hours per week.

This mandate comes from the federal government via the Affordable Health Care Act.

Many of our part time employees are going to lose thousands of dollars per year in wages due to this mandate, and frankly, I don't give a shit. Most of the people affected by this voted for the asshole behind this terrible piece of legislation. You reap what you sow.

That's all I'm going to say about it.

It's happening nationwide.


It takes a special kind of stupid to conclude that when faced with the choices of either having to add thousands of dollars in labor costs per employee...jack up prices for good/services, go out of business or cut back part time hours to avoid the mandate, it's an easy choice for a business, that isn't subsidized by taxpayer revenue, to make.
