Atlanta has a catcher that wont be ready for a year or 2 in Bethancourt. Here's the thing with Mccann, he isnt actually the Mccann of a few years back. Atlanta can keep him cheap for a couple of more years at probably what Russel Martin got in Pittburgh. Mccann wont have a chance to hit the open market. He's already on record he doesnt want to leave his home state of GA. And noone is going to give him an obscene amount of money.

Atlanta only has 43 million of payroll next season, Hudson will be gone, that frees money to sign Mccann. They're loaded with arb 1 and arb 2 guys, who will be cost effecitve, like Kimbrel and Freeman. I dont know where anyone is getting Atlanta is A) Letting him walk, B) they can't afford to sign him.

Gotcha

Would the emergence of Gattis change that thinking at all?

Or is the OF is ultimate destination ?

I'm sure he does. And I'm sure, on a few occasions, he's had to improvise and get the first on his own after initially failing. But that stat is more indicative of the line's skill (particularly the center) than the QB.

Without looking it up, can you tell me who's #2 on that list? I couldn't begin to venture a guess.

Are you actually starting to defend it? I thought you hated this?

None...World suggested they could use Tebow in short yardage situations..

Rock mentioned they haven't failed to convert a 3rd or 4th and short since 2005..."he's the best at it"

and here we are with the prons jerking themselves over it...

In short...just another day here...

It's crazy

Crazier that it's a talking point on a radio station

the crazy part? Is like usual, it's not pats fans ball washing. It's the idiot brigade exaggerating what was said by a pats fan, and drawing conclusions never suggested...

I heard on Felger and Mazz yesterday that Brady is awesome.

And that Powersauce is amazing.
