I actually agree, he's an NFL player in some way other than QB and I think he's on the right team to figure out what that is. But the team seems pretty set at whatever that may be, TE, RB/FB. So I'm curious as hell about what they have planned. I'm thinking project/QB down the road. This team made Matt Cassel look like a legit QB so there may be hope for Tebow lol

And Tom Brady

Yeah that's why I say Tebow is a 'project QB', maybe 2 or 3 years down the road. Even McDoosh who loved him didn't start him as a rook until he had to, for 3 games.

Not starting him as a rook is not uncommon. Not every QB can just come in and own the NFL like Russell Wilson

see where i said that?

me neither

thing is, brady actually runs the sneak...hard not to give him credit

the line? constantly changes...but yes, the line gets credit

should i mention the coaches and water boy too?

In all of my years (43) of following football, I have NEVER, not once, heard ANYONE say any particular QB was the "best at" QB sneaks. It's not a skilled play 90% + of the time. You put your head down you either get it or you don't depending on if your line gets wins the battle.

It'd be the best fuck you ever had...other than that time when Big Ben slipped you a roofie.

Ben didn't need a roofie with me

Gary Sanchez was the more important piece of the trade, but I was under the assumption they weren't retaining Mcann

Atlanta has a catcher that wont be ready for a year or 2 in Bethancourt. Here's the thing with Mccann, he isnt actually the Mccann of a few years back. Atlanta can keep him cheap for a couple of more years at probably what Russel Martin got in Pittburgh. Mccann wont have a chance to hit the open market. He's already on record he doesnt want to leave his home state of GA. And noone is going to give him an obscene amount of money.

Atlanta only has 43 million of payroll next season, Hudson will be gone, that frees money to sign Mccann. They're loaded with arb 1 and arb 2 guys, who will be cost effecitve, like Kimbrel and Freeman. I dont know where anyone is getting Atlanta is A) Letting him walk, B) they can't afford to sign him.

Yeah but when you trade multiple picks to move up to get a QB and then don't start him it shows you know he needs work. I think he sucks as a passer but he has a lot of what you want in a QB. leadership, driven, hardworker etc etc...Not much of a risk really.

That's a testament to the offensive line domination and play execution. It has very little to do with the physical ability of the QB.

Are you actually starting to defend it? I thought you hated this?
