So I think I shared before that I worked in Wilkes Barre for 5 years give or take. the first year or two I traveled back and forth to Vermont almost every weekend.Ahh okay not sure why I assumed Richmond. I am unfamiliar with 87 and 287 that is off my path. This year I took 26 W in SC to 77N which connects directly to 81N then 84 at Wilkes Barre. Much better drive than 95 all the way to Richmond then 64 W
Then the first year I was in Va. Beach I traveled back and forth to Wilkes Barre every weekend.
Towards the end of my time in Va. Beach I first traveled to Atlanta every weekend for about a year, then it was Fishkill NY for another year doing the weekly thing, but they paid for a flight out of Stewart (Newburgh NY) every other weekend. Finally, my last stint with that company I did the weekly Va. Beach to DC trip. I know SO MANY roads up and down the east coast. I literally drove them asleep. Like look at the gas gauge and think oh 1/4 tank I should stop Blink and it's on E and you have zero recollection of the last hour. Zero.
You thought you were going to get coffee when you stopped for gas but now the adrenaline from spooking yourself has got you Wide Eyed and quivering!
Glad those days are over!
