LOL! Maybe we need some of that in our locker room. Do you remember when they'd interview James Brooks?

I'm going to go out on a limb here and assume that neither of them exactly have a command of the English language but are fluent in ebonics?

They could barely string together a coherent sentence. There is NO WAY these guys were doing their own homework. Yes, I understand that a lot of top college athletes are not doing their own work...I'm just saying....these guys are full fledged retards.

When you major in your ABC's you graduate with flying colors. I'm glad I missed that press conference. Nothing worse than being subjected to a retarded athlete from the inner city try to be articulate.

I think it's an either/or thing in many cases. If you have skills, there's a fair shot you can't spell skills.

They can run and Lacy trucks grown ass men. I'm not sure how eloquent they need to be.

If that's all that counts (and with them it obviously is) then you're 100% correct. :suds:

One of my all time favorite Bengals (James Brooks) was for all practical purposes illiterate. Really, all that matters is that they have football smarts.

Which is an indictment of the Alabama football program. :2cents:

Bama is essentially an NFL minor league system. People may hate them, but when you consider their academic requirements what ND and Stanford are doing is really impressive.

This is the main reason that ND will never be able to compete with the SEC teams.

It is not a level playing field and when Saban tells you how proud he is of his boys, take it with a grain of salt.

That's why I kind of like the idea of academics being factored into BCS rankings. I don't think it should be a huge factor, but kind of like how running up the score used to bump the computers by a couple fractions of a point.
