I am a little surprised that we haven't heard the dbacks brought up in various trade talks. The jays just got their third baseman so there goes that. Anyone have any rumors to bring to the table?

I hear Cody Ross and Trevor Cahill for Stanton is being considered...

What becomes of Trumbo?!?! The guy has been a major disappointment.

I think the only guy they can get any real haul for is Wade Miley. The injury to Hill hurts his already questionable stock. They could probably swing a mid-level prospect for a few of their relievers, but with KT still factoring into decisions, might as well stand pat.

I love Collmenter. Definitely think he should stay. The guy has done everything he's been asked to do (which is to pitch in just about every role you can pitch in) and done it fairly well each time. he wouldn't necessarily need to be in the rotation, but you could do a lot worse (and they have) as a 4th or 5th starter.

The D-backs really need 3 new legit SPs. Hudson can't be relied upon and should be written off from any real Plan As moving forward.

the recovery time might be 8-10 months, but in reality, it takes about 2 years to fully recover from TJS. You really can't count on Corbin to be a guy you can plug in for 35 starts next year and expect him to be just as good as 2013

One of the three shortstops need to go though... and it better not be Owings. One of Ahmed/Didi will more than likely get dealt.

If the Dbacks want to make moves at the trade deadline, then it will have to involve some of our bullpen pieces. No one wants out crappy position players. If the Dbacks truly believe in Stites, Marshall, Barrett, etc, then they might deal someone like Ziegler.

The more time that goes by with KT as the general manager, the more worried I become about the direction of the team. If their plan is to stick with a GM that has brought them 3 straight .500 or worse seasons, then I may have to take a break from following Diamondbacks baseball.

No man, they're really good actually. They're just pulling the good old fashion Joe Saunders move... pretend to suck for so long that people actually think you suck. In reality they are the best team in baseball, they're just waiting for the right moment to strike.

Cahill has been pretty mediocre since he came back, that's an improvement for him.
