These games need to stop starting at such a late time. There is no reason to start games at about 8 pm local time in SF. I couldn't get past Delgado throwing gasoline on the fire before I had to turn the game off & get some sleep. It's a shame that I had to miss watching Lamb's epic tying HR live.

I read Chip's comments about making even more pitching roster moves after another SP failed to go deep in a game in which we ended up in extra innings. I imagine Archie will be sent back to Reno for on of either Godley, Burgos, or Leone. Godley started Sunday in Mobile, so that might make him unlikely.

Umm, no. Him being on the roster right now was always going to be temporary. He was called up because of Miller & all the innings the BP has thrown. RDLR is still in the rotation for now, so there was no place for him.

As for his "potential", you saw it last night. A consistent 95-96 which is a heck of a lot better than it had been the last 2 seasons where he lost his velocity which was down to 92-93. He just needs to harness his accuracy. It's not like he was all over the place, he was missing consistently in the same spot with the FB, up & away, which caused him to get behind in the count & batters to lay off his off-speed pitches. That is easily fixable. You can already see one fix Butcher has done with Bradley, starting his windup with his hands at belt level & not up high out in front like he was before.

Bradley is right there. He was cruising through innings 3-4, gave up the solo HR to start the 5th & left the game at 105 pitches with 2 on & 1 out. Delgado just threw gas on the fire. Bradley should have got out of the game with only 3 runs attributed to him.

That's what happens when a lineup starts producing runs, it has a high likelihood of being used again.
