I can see how these things happen. These kids are under a lot of pressure and some of them can't stand it and they snap. This kid was obviously overwhelmed with the thought of a future at OU and being burdened with physics labs and mission work while still attempting to squeeze in some well deserved physical activity working out with other scholars in their pursuit of athletic excellence. It's totally understandable.

I'm wondering if he does have to sit this season out if he'll actually come back next season? I could be wrong, but I can easily see him entering the draft next year. I think he's talented enough to be a high draft pick and all he has to do is keep himself in football shape til draft day whether he plays or not.

I don't see any way he will play this year after pushing a chick down the stairs and getting busted for pot.

Whats the story? Did OU go out and recruit a criminal? Are they going to apply for a waiver, so the kid sees 0 punishment? Its repugnant. A kid is leaving A&M, because his mother has bad kidneys. He wants to be closer to home. He has to sit out a year and OU is trying to get this kid to play immediately. Does that sound like a just system?
