Somebody at this point would give something for Dez, think T.O. Or Moss. As for talent I never said he wasn't talented did I? Nope, I will say over the years teams with talented WRs who also happen to be head cases don't win championships. So why put up with one?

Despite the national narrative, at this point, this idea is crazy for multiple reasons.

It's not a slam dunk at this point. What kind of contract you think he will get? It's a cap world, we have a cap problem and everyone has a value. Dez without these mental issues should be worth more than Dez with these issues, correct? So what is someone else willing to offer him and what if that is a team with plenty of cap room. I'm certainly not ready to let Dez walk, but this tells me he hasn't turned the corner yet. People are comparing him to Brady here, but Brady came out and said what he did was wrong. Dez basically said what he did was the right thing to do. I just don't see how any of you don't see the difference.

Really I can't say it enough, time to part ways. For many reasons. One, Dez sees no problem with his actions in fact he defended them by stating he has always been that way and always will be that way. Two, he is coming up on his second contract I think. Is this a guy Dallas really wants long term at a hefty price? Three, he still has value on the trade market be it this season or the off season. Four, still waiting on the list of championship teams with head case WRs. I can't think of any that won with guys like that around.

I don't hate it and I don't think he should be crucified the way he currently is. They became I believe only the 2nd team EVER to lose a game despite forcing 4 turnovers. They almost blew the Giants game. This is 3 years now where the Cowboys have lost or found themselves in these sort of games. He was pissed, the offensive playcalling was shitty, he had every right to be angry. Unlike TO which is what people are trying to make this out to be, he's not running to the media and causing controversy and ripping teammates etc. It was on the sidelines, he was being passionate about a game that they were blowing, that they should've won. It's really not that bad.

Funny, I think every players job is to win the game. With that line of thinking, you must think Romo did his job too. I saw a WR that didn't get open very much and a QB that was pretty crappy with or without the 3 TDs. You want to be compared to Calvin, then beat some more double teams...This may have been the least amount Calvin has been double teamed in a couple of years and he still puts up better numbers.

As a Lions fan that has watched CJ for his entire career I can say Dez is as athletic and has the same ability! The biggest difference is the mental side of the game. What is best for the team and sacrificing his own stats.

CJ has been an absolute professional his entire career and never caused a black eye to the organization. At some point in time Jerry Jones will have to ask is the performance worth the off field bullshit? Maybe at some time a quality veteran should be added as a mentor for the guy. All the security guards and chaperones are great but a role model might be better!
