Smitty.......My nephew got is first official offer yesterday......Lot's of teams have been talking to his coach in the past few months.....Lots of little small schools asking his coach if they have a chance or if he's going Div 1......Well Teams are aloud to talk to kids this time of year and the head coach of Western Carolina approached him yesterday with parents and his coach around and a offer was extended....They were down in Atlanta playing on a travel ball team.....Yankees and Cubs scouts were down there as well looking at players (not my nephew that we know of).......Western Carolina wasn't even on the radar, even his coach cancelled a tournament to N.C. because he didn't think his players were gaining any interest in that state.....He's rethinking that now....

Think my sister mentioned something about the Coach of Western Carolina has 26 MLB players playing or plaid in the MLB... Pretty sure she said playing but that seems like a lot for one school.....
