Thanks Vice!

I usually only use my phone. BR looks a lot different via your link than when I go there.
yeah... if you are using your phone and you followed that link it probably is sending you to the full website and not the mobile version.

I was playing the career splits when the Tigers first got Zimmerman. His career vs the AL split is what got me looking for career splits.

don't know how you have the patience to use the phone to look stuff up like that... internet browsing on a phone drives me nuts.

The little lady has two laptops and an IPad, but I'm so used to this that I never use any of them.
I can't live without my macbook. I use my ipad when i am on the road or traveling.. but i can't imagine using a phone for this site. i have tried it in the past and it is just uncomfortable.

For awhile after the upgrade it was a pain. And sometimes still is. Have to turn off JavaScript to be on here ery now and then or you get redirected to random games or the AppStore.

It really was a pain back in the day on CBS when I was rocking a Blackberry flip. Lol

Sonny Gray career splits. (It's only 3 years)

2015
Home 2.82 105.1 innings
Away 2.63 102.2innings
2.73 overall

2014
Home 3.60ERA 115innings
away 2.51ERA 104innings
3.08overall

2013
Home. 1.99 40.2innings
away 3.86 23.1 innings
2.76era overall

Very interesting splits, and I never would have guessed that.

Me either.

Not sure how many times I've had the same line of thinking on As pitchers in conversations. Kazmir, Zito, whoever... It's a safe a assumption OdotCo helps. Sonny Gray is just a weirdo. (Who I'm sure will get traded sooner rather than later. Lol)

Talking about splits... did you notice how many more lefties Verlander has faced vs righties... never really noticed it.. but teams must load up against him because he has almost 800 more plate appearances against lefties in his career.

That did stick out.

So did his 1st and 5th numbers. For years the first did him in. Or made him human atleast. Never really noticed the 2nd, 3rd and 4th being so much better than the 5th for him.

Also was kinda caught off guard by how many times his guys have put up 6+ runs. Not surprised by how he's taken advantage. (Can't remember the record for those starts, but it was Warriorsesque winning%.)

The Tigers sign Andrew Romine to a 1-year, $900,000 deal, avoiding arbitration. I really thought with the Mike Aviles acquisition that Romine would be expendable. It doesn't make sense to have both guys on the roster, IMO.

I hate Romine but Romine > Aviles.

I hate Romine but Romine > Aviles.

You have a 30-year old and a 34-year old on the roster who basically fill the same role. At least Romine is cheap.

Not sure why Aviles was even brought in other than club house presence... The Aviles and Pelfrey signings make me scratch my head.

I wonder if Dombrowski will fortify the Red Sox bullpen with Ryan Perry and Dan Schlereth. Both are sitting at home, polishing their first round pick medals, waiting for a call. (I know DD did not draft Schlereth....he had to trade to get his #1 arm) Not sure where Tiger's #1 pick Kyle Sleeth is, or what first round supplemental picks Chance Ruffin and Brandon Hamilton are doing.....but maybe Hernan Perez can find them a job in Venezuela, if Dave D has no use for them in Boston. As we know Jacob Miller was a useful tool....emphasis on tool, not pitcher.
