One has to wonder tho if we had papelbon in the ALCS....benoit as the set up man.....papelbon might of been pitching with a chip on his shoulder....you never know.....
I guess I SHOULD stop posting on the Tiger boards....

Ya, don't think were going to here about those block buster signings from him. Dang near comical.
I'm not as upset as some are with this seasons offseasons moves......I'm only really ticked about the Fister fiasco.... Speed and defense was addressed, JL gone will help this team a lot.
BP is my real concern, that can be resolved in July.

Comedy? Like the comedy of coming here and being told that I talk about the D'Backs too much and I should shut up and leave? AND THEN, being questioned why I don't bring up AZ trades here??? That kind of comedy? (Geez....unbelievable!)
BTW....there has been no contract signed (minor league or otherwise) between Jose Valverde and the D'Backs. The last anyone has heard is that Valverde has switched agents and has told friends that he signed NO contract with anyone.
As for Eric Chavez.....he is seen as nothing more than a bench players/PH. The club actually wanted him back to be an experienced vet in the clubhouse. Chavez lives in Phoenix. You see, in Phoenix, fans don't fixate on the 25th player, like they do in Detroit. We know that Chavez will NOT be the reason the team wins or loses a title.
Oh yeah... Go Lions. lmao
Wasnt last year either when people picked us to run away with the division....and we won by one game.
Rangers sign Choo.
cleaves? How does this effect the Doom and Gloom paradigm?
PBR and ball park franks that's baseball.....
The division wasnt close last year. It may have looked "close" at the end, because the tigers had already clinched. In fact last year as far as I recall is the first year the tigers had it under wraps so early. The tigers are clearly the superior team in the central even after making a dumb trade. Their lineup and rotation are still better than anything any other club can offer, they added speed and defense and now have a top closer. They have the best hitter and pitcher in the game. I agree the fister move was questionable this offseason but outside of that I have no problem with what DD did. Who exactly on any other team in the central can compare to verlander, scherzer, sanchez, miggy, and nathan? We have three number one starting pitchers while other teams in the central have maybe one and that one doesnt stand a chance against max or jv. Anyhow, yes anything can happen but talent wise its clear the tigers have much, much more.
Don't make me tattle on you. I will call Dad and you will have to create another screen name.. I've been pretty nice lately so play nice....You will learn much like kids on my bus.
I don't think the Rangers are going to fall flat in the regular season. I see Prince being a MVP contender with Choo and Elvis getting on alot in front of him and Beltre protecting him. He could get 100 RBI's by the break. Their pitching should worry their fans. A lot of guys coming back from injuries. Especially Darvish's back injury. I don't see the A's doing it again but I seem to be proven wrong every year by those guys.Im not saying detroit doesnt have the talent to win the central....i still believe KC will be there in sept.....but this team didnt get better to win the WS....i see the rangers as a problem now.....profar, andrus, beltre, fielder, and choo.....with darvish.....i hope they end up like the angels and stink and the A's win again since their strategy of moneyball fails in the playoffs....
Haha....i thought he was gone for the holidays?
Did his family already kick him out? Send him home early?
I wonder if iffy is like jerry stillers character from king of queens.....living in his daughters basement with an IQ of a 10 yr old.....they told him xmas was already over and sent him back down to the basement.
