I'll take Iggy's glove at SS. Especially with an immobile Cabrera next to the SS. No changes on Thursday.

Ill take him at third with Cabrera as a pinch hitter. It won't happen. But he'd bat with someone on base. And that way only Prince is a liability in the field.

Can't take Cabrera out of the line-up. Even reduced to a singles hitter because of the injury Cabrera may still be the best hitter on the team. (Well, at least in the top 3.)

Cabrera is the least of our worries. How many times has he batted with a runner on 2nd base in this series? I can think of one... the first inning of Game 1, and he delivered an RBI single. The guy hit over .400 this year with RISP and his overall batting average was .348. That tells me he does his best work with men on base, and our PUTRID performance from the 9-1-2 hitters in this series (combined 5-for-41) means that Cabby is batting with no one on base almost every time. So we're gonna get on him for not hitting any solo home runs in this series? Gimme a break.

Of course he won't. He's Leyland. Jackson would be hitting leadoff tomorrow even if he'd Kd four times yesterday, like he did this weekend. Prince will be hitting cleanup for 380somethingth time and Jhonny and Omar will be in the bottom third. What makes me most nervous (superstitious) is that JV hasn't had decent run support in forever. Started the season with lots of production from the guys behind him. Sure didn't finish that way.

Agree, if jp replaces anyone it should be the lf. Defense at ss over offense.

Theres nothing wrong with staying with what worked this season, the best lineup. Yeah the offense is slumping but lets also not forget the athletics are a damn good team with a great pitching staff as well. Game 5 is going to be awesome. For all of those fans that hated on JV all season he might end up the best pitcher in the playoffs. Someone didmt even want him in the playoff rotation, lol

The other guy from Victors home run last night was just on the local radio show. Great interview with the with one of the men that was in the middle of the high drama. Seemed like an awesome Tigers fan. Season ticket holder.... Got upgraded to front row when the bullpen moved to left. And said he woulda survived the fall if he got tossed out of the stands, but might not have made it off the field. Hahahaha. I'm looking forward to Victor carrying thru this series. He's who I want most at the plate right now when it matters. I think. Maybe Id still take Miggy. Or maybe.....

How can you think of setting Miggy? he still is hitting. with no power true. but he is getting hits.

A Jax has to get on base. he has been terrible. so has Fielder.
