yes that was typically Billy. Always trying to start something and then letting the players do the fighting for him. Whether with the Tigers/A's or Yankees.

Oakland only has one LH SP, Tommy Milone. I have only seen the announced SP's for games 1-3, and none is Milone. So he's either starting Game 4 or we won't see him starting. If the Tigers do the straight platoon, it looks like we'll see plenty of Dirks and little of Peralta.

I do not believe Milone is on the roster. Rotation will be all righties and 3 lefties in the pen.

Dirks will play against right hand pitching. Depends on how Peralta hits. If he starts hitting Leyland will keep him in line up(we hope).
Jhonny can help this team with his bat. funny..Dirks was red hot when hitting in the #w spot this year

Yep, Jhonny is technically the 4th/5th outfielder with 2E not on the PS roster, which means Hernan Perez gets added as an extra infielder.

However, this is an ongoing thread (not sure how it works) and I feel a little like a stranger here since the majority of Tigers posters on SportsHoopla came from somewhere other than the ESPN robust message boards.

It's mainly all your guys' call. I'm neutral on the whole thing, though obviously I like doing up threads. It's not gonna break my heart if everyone prefers to finish this thread for 2013.

Dude do what you gotta do man, ill post there if you want to create another thread for the playoffs.

ehh. no big deal. Tigers were the better team last season. This season the A's are probably the better team. We shall see. At least the late night games are on the weekend.

I'm a fan of the Lions and Seahawks and I always wished and hoped for a Superbowl with those two teams in it, Well Seattle moved to the NFC years ago and that would drive me nuts watching those two teams play each other for a chance to get into the SB.......I would still be rooting for the Lions but Wouldn't enjoy the game as much if it was a team I loathed or didn't care about.

A's. real baseball not a slow pitch softball game with guys that can't run going station to station and no defensive range. Although iggy has helped.
