The picture I posted is from 1935 Detroit.....Charlie Gehringer worked in the off season at Hudson Department store and owned a few gas stations in Detroit......that is him in the picture......Could u imagine todays over paid bums having to work do real work in the off season to make ends meet??????

Thought that was a picture of iffy.

Had a great time at the cell last night. Dont think the sox fans liked seeing a tigers fan in the VIP. bwahahaha. Once again walked right by hawks door on the way to the stadium club.....had evil thoughts.......but didnt want to end up in the cook county slammer. But anyways had a great time watching the tigers play long ball while eating and drinking on my wifes presidents dime.

They didnt even have the old security guard sitting in a chair this time. I think he was only there last time because it was the day after he got into the big altercation about the umps. But what a job....sitting in a skinny carpeted hallway with no windows or anything....only job not to let some crazy mofo like muzz come in and whoop hawks ass with his headset.

Yep, Dirks needs to make that play. But the ball was hit hard. JV should be able to put away a .202 hitter with 2 strikes on him.

Verlander can't locate squat. Walked 2, both scored. Has a .202 hitter in a 2-2 count, and grooves one down the middle. That's not the JV we know.

We are likely going to need something close to the old JV in September. I'd almost be in favor of throwing him on the DL with some phantom injury just to get him away from the game. He looks like he's thinking about arm slot and pressing way too much out there.

Yup i cant stick up for JV no more. He strikes the guy out then gives up the 2 out hit. Sickening. Well i guess 3 outta 4 in chicago minus miggy and infante isnt bad. Geez 10 hits in 4 innings. And here we go......swinging at first pitch. .....guess theyre packing it in, ready to hit the airport. Anyone know the tigers daytime numbers? Seems like we ALWAYS lose on wed and thurs afternoons.

Yeah right....ole smokey is gonna run him right back out for the 5th i bet. 6 runs and 10 hits in 4 innings gets most players sent to the showers.

This team is swinging first pitch over and over. They just want it to be over. Might as well let sum bums in the BP gets some work. Let the sox score 15 runs today....hawk and iffy will have a fine thursday.
