To be fair, this is the first time in quite a while that I can remember we have wild card teams with 11 wins and it basically takes at least 10 wins to get your division. So the top end of the league is very good at winning games they should win, for the most part. I'm guessing we're going to have a very competitive playoffs.

Fuck you moab! Your stupid ass Packers didn't win yesterday either, you jackass!

.......

Happy New Year Moab... hope all is well..

There’s a whole thread about it comparing Chiefs’ decision to sit players and why wouldn’t Lions sit their players, it was a clusterfuck, but it was funny though.
Did we ever figure out if it's a good idea for KC to rest guys but not Detroit?

I don’t believe so, I think it was hard to have a concise discussion about it since the Chiefs already have the 1 seed, and the Lions have arguably the most aggressive HC of all time.

There’s bound to not be a definitive answer to that question.

They still have one more game to play next week. And do you really think he’ll get fired, one year after a Super Bowl appearance? I think he’s overrated and has some choke artist in him but he won’t get fired.
He's not a great coach, but he is a good one....and not deserving to be fired.....

Doubt they would find an upgrade if they did in fact fire him.

I have never been impressed with Shanahan, I think he’s the person mostly at fault for the Falcons epic choke in Super Bowl 51, his play calling was inexcusably bad late in that game. It was awful in Super Bowl 54 as well, when the Niners had a ten point lead over the Chiefs in the second half and he kept calling pass plays. He seems like a chronic choker in big games.

Whats wrong with calling pass plays up 10?

Brock having a perfect game so far. I don't think the Lions have the D to go the distance, but we'll see...

Not just that, he says dumb stuff about his NBA teams too.

I do understand fans wanting their coach fired if they're in over their head or just doing a bad job, I really do. That stated, there are almost no actual NFL people that believe he is a bad coach or doing a bad job. Does he appear to be hard headed and a bit of an old school "don't give a damn" coach, probably, but that doesn't make him a bad coach, at least not in the estimation of his peers and potential employers.
