How the heck could you even think about an obscure guy like kevin fucken brown to make even a wild guess? What reading did you do to make the guess? I'm not trying to be a prick but Ize gots to know.
You're not supposed to do any reading to answer these questions

I remember Eric the "RED" from 1986. He had less than 500 at bats that year. I was think that he could have stolen 100 bases if he had another 100 at bats that year. The tip off came when you said he stole 80 bases in one year. Eric Davis was also a great fielder!
Correct!

  • Tallest position player in MLB history
  • In 2001, his 45 home runs tied Gorman Thomas for a single-season Brewers record
  • First Brewer to have 100 RBIs in three seasons in a row
  • Despite lofty career home run and RBI numbers, he finished with a paltry 16.8 WAR in 5,604 PA
  • As a kid, I loved this player because his name was considered a "bad" or "inappropriate" word to me
Rusty Kuntz?

My 1st guess of Roger Clemens was wrong. I remember when the Padres fans rooted for and cheered Sammy Sosa
and Mark McGiure to hit home runs against the Padres. Brown got pissed off and verbally attacked the fans.
I took the clues and tried to think of a pitcher that got pissed off and let someone know about it. Example; Clemens chased after a player with a bat.. The Art of deduction. That's how it's done!

Yo Cedric: The other Bell boy (no pun intended) only played two partial season for the Braves in the early 90s.
His first name rhymes with bike!

I wouldn't be surprised if "Cedric" doesn't show his face on this thread for a couple weeks after I bested him in the Bell family geneology, and let's not forget his inability to guess who my racy-named player is

So you watched this game on TV 15 or 20 years ago and you remember this incident? Sosa and McGuire weren't on the same team. I'm lost. Some incidents do stand out though like crotchman's hello to the fans or in this case if you saw Brown going into the stands.

Sosa and McGuire were in a home run race. They played in different games. The padres fans rooted for them
in their home stadium. I remember reading about it. I did not see it on TV. I was surprised that the Padres offered him a contract the following season, but the Dodgers outbid them big time.
Also I live in south Florida and I saw Brown pitching on TV when he was with the Marlins. He is no stranger to me.
