  • 4 time All-Star
  • Won a World Series MVP
  • Hit 40 home runs every season from 1999-2001
  • A team he grew up with opted to start Dallas McPherson at third base rather than resigning him
  • Traded to the Cardinals for Scott Rolen

No, I think he played for Toronto before Cincy. I can't think of the 40 hr masher the Cardinals got for him though....

Sounds like a Roids user. Was he mentioned in the Mitchell report?

Except Glaus only hit 40 hrs in 2000 and 2001 so I guess it was one of Glaus's teammates?

wtf? That's 24 hours I'll never get back.....

Ok, here's one

Played third base, and some 2b for the 1979 Blue Jays.
Had over 300 ABs as a rookie, but posted a dismal .554 OPS.
While he was in the major leagues, also played a sport in college.
Only played two more seasons in the majors because he was much better at his other sport.
Not well liked by Philadelphia fans, (and other fans outside of Boston) in the 80's.

Was he a junkie?
No, not a junkie that I know of. He had a long career, over a decade in his better sport. He is an executive for that league now.
