Out indefinitely> out for the year

I'm just glad that its not his ACL and that he should be back in 2-3 months. At latest Rose should be back sometime in February

What a horrible tragedy for that kids career. He needs to go the Germany and get that Juice Kobe uses.

Doesn't that mean arthroscopic surgery? Doubt he'd be out until February, with that one.

It depends how bad it is. I know Metta peace came back from that surgery in a month but Westbrook was out 2 months with the same thing so we'll see it

Especially emotionally. If he wasn't prepared mentally for the day-to-day grind of life as a professional athlete, he should have never taken that money from the Bulls.

I've never had any type of serious knee injury, but as far as long range considerations, I think I'd actually rather have a ligament than a cartilage tear, if it came to that. At least there's an avenue to structural repair, by using a tendon (patellar or hamstring, I believe) from elsewhere. With a meniscus, I believe they basically just go in and sew up the remaining cartilage to 'close the holes'. Can lead to permanent problems.

If he misses the year with this injury he is truly soft. Nobody misses 5+ months with that injury
