That's ignorant. They have given up the fewest points per game in the league. They've done it against a weak schedule, but they have very good players on their defense (e.g., Powe, Hali, Johnson, Houston, Flowers, Berry, and Smith)

So what you're saying is that these "very good players" have admirably put together the 19th overall ranked defense against some of the lowest ranked opponents possible. And you call me ignorant ??. Let me reiterate/confirm my opinion of several months ago. I have little if any respect for your opinions or the way you share them, feel free to keep your opinions of my posts and your self inflated attitude to yourself.

First off, if you go per game as opposed to total, they're 8th. I'm not sure how complicated that is.

Second, they are first in ppg allowed.

If you really want to play the schedule game, we can talk about how Denver's D has sucked against teams > .500 ...including 2012 where they gave up 26+ PPG.

ya'll kinda just like to go around in circles dont you ??

When it is the schedule argument, I do love running in a circle and putting a "kick me" sign on the other guy... Highly agitating and lacking in real substance in the NFL.

Irrelevant. Your claim that they are 19th in total defense is deliberately misleading. Not only is yards a far less useful metric than points, but you're deliberately not accounting for the extra game they have played.

LOL No, what I'm saying is what I posted, namely, that it's ignorant to say that KC's defense has been "average at best", since they have allowed fewer points per game than any team in the league, though they have done that against a weak schedule. Hope that helps, Dr. Freud. LOL

The redskins are your indicator? A 2-5 team?

Mkay.

I am just not sure Denver has a defense capable of winning a championship. Good defenses still work. As indicated by KC's flawless record.

Yes, The Redskins have a very potent offense. Denver finally had Woodyard back in calling the defense. That makes a huge difference. The D-line got penetration and pressure up the middle, which is effective at disrupting a QB and making him get rid of the ball quicker than he wants to and making more errant throws which showed in the INTS they had. They also had numerous sacks and pressures.

They play like that down the stretch and with the offense they have they will win most games.

Let's see how KC 's defense holds up against better teams with potent offenses. Then we will see how "flawless" they are,

I said three games...which is more than the number of playoff games the Broncos will win.

Thought this might be worth revisiting since I posted it a couple of weeks ago. Only four of forty-six respondents to the poll predicted that Denver would win either none or one of its four game stretch at SD, v. KC, at NE, and at KC. So, having now won the first two of those games, only four voters are so far proven wrong. Given what you've seen since the poll was first posted, what do you now predict? If you've already voted in the poll, then you can't vote in the poll again, but everyone can post their revised predictions.
