In the goddamn fold!! I'm feeling a Super Bowl run outta this bunch. Guys like Moore don't hit the open market everyday! MB should be executive of the year.

No need to even participate in the draft now. All our needs are covered. I just hope we have enough money for injury settlements. We may have to go without a practice squad this season. That new "practice room" ain't gonna pay for itself.

HAHA. I am with you guys, but relax, it is just practice fodder. Worst case scenario, he becomes the 4th or 5th WR. I don't mind if he winds replacing Tate before the season begins. I just want Tate to get the F outta here. Maybe make his way back to NE, that would be nice.

Barring an injury, I think Tate's chances of making the team are actually pretty slim. Multiple reasons:

First, you have you main 3 WR's back, plus they really liked what Cobi did when he got up to the main roster, and you figure they will draft at least 1 WR, and many people are saying potentially 2 WR's.

And you figure Jones has got to get more returns this year. There's no way that they can't use him, especially with Hall, Kirkpatrick, and Dennard all able to play CB and save some wear on Jones if he returns punts/kicks.

Then again, shit sticks around here.

Sorry...Wright, maybe it was? Either way, my point was being...Tate's best shot to stay is at returner, and really, he's not the best option at returner...

Well it certainly wasn't Hamilton -- He doesn't play special teams and is a terrible receiver.
Wright showed potential as a receiver -- Not sure about returning.

Wright I like. Hamilton can't catch a cold bare ass naked in Alaska.

Wright isn't a returner on special teams, but he was a special teams ace at LSU and will be one with Cincinnati.

Good luck with him, he's talented but injury prone.

This is where fans of most teams say "No offense, but you guys suck and I'm sure he'll be an all-pro with our awesome organization." The 'no offense' is always a nice touch before telling someone that their team sucks.

Fortunately we're Bengal fans and our expectations of him are low.

Really? You're not sold on the guy? We love the dude and wouldn't trade him for everything. All we talk about around here is championship - Day and night. We can smell it.

he throws way too many picks, he plays terribly in big games...it isnt just a bad game or 2, every time hes on national TV he loads his briefs.

he has one of the worst completion %'s in football when rushed (i.e when blitzed)

his playoff rating is 57.8 (1 TD, 6 picks)

and again, i was HUGE on him at TCU...some guys have "it"...some, dont.

I certainly haven't noticed this. We think he looks good under the lights. BengalDoug wrote a song about the Red Rifle in primetime and Crash played it on his banjo. It was pretty good.

from nov. 2014:

Dalton has often been a punchline in his career despite a "$100 million" contract and a solid career as a starter. His penchant for playing his worst on the big stage, however, is hard to ignore. Dalton's career numbers in nationally televised games are hard to believe: 54.6 percent completions, 5.6 yards per attempt, eight touchdowns and 14 interceptions. The Bengals are 2-9 in those games. After a while, those numbers feel less and less random.
