On second thought, I guess you have to tread lightly with guys like Gillies and Collier. You saw what happened when Ruben rushed that Susdorf kid to the majors before he was ready. He's probably worried about ruining some more prospects.

There was a time when I liked the penquin as he hit .307 in June and over .400 for a few weeks in late June/ mid July. His fate was sealed after slumping to .200 the last few weeks to match what he did in May. It's silly of them to say it was to make room for Caspar Wells.

i'd honestly rather have delmon's bat off the bench than casper well's. as long as fatboy doesn't put a glove on no more than once or twice a week, i was fine with him coming off the bench
