Exactly. It would be a great first move for us. Bottom line is we need a starting safety and CB. The younger and cheaper....the better.

thats because when hes healthy hes basically a pro bowl safety, ive watched almost all of his games. i think hes worth the risk if hes not that expensive.

Byrd, Ward, Bethea. Although Byrd's health is up and down I still think these are the targets we should focus on.
Delmas has benefited from a simple scheme with a great front 7. Not sure if he'll perform as well in a 3-4 complex scheme with virtually no pressure at this time...
