Well, the top 3 Wr's are in place know assuming Luke wins the Wr3 job as the slot. Does Dymani have a shot coming back at WR4?
Dyami has a shot at coming back but not to big money.

This is essentially swapping Johnathan Allen for Deebo in terms of salary. Deebo at 17M on the books and Allen at 16.3M off of them.I'm wondering if his 17m price tag takes us out of the running for Garrett. Does AP give Deebo 17 and then turn around and give Garrett 19.7?
Yeah my fear was AP not wanting to tie up 36m of his cap space in two players. I love how aggressive AP is being. Lattimore.....Deebo and hopefully Garrett. He's not sitting on his hands. This is essentially swapping Johnathan Allen for Deebo in terms of salary. Deebo at 17M on the books and Allen at 16.3M off of them.
That's the money...
Allen while most likely a cut candidate, could still find a trading partner giving Washington something else to improve the team.
I didn't say I wanted anything. I said I hope they aren't done. I said I don't think they view Luke as a #3. Are you okay Dean?

What is a good definition of a WR2? If healthy why can't Deebo be a WR2?
Dyami played well in the playoffs plus he has experience playing with Jayden. There is value in that but great QBs tend to bring out the best in other players. He would do the same thing with a rookie WR.im curious to see what he gets in FA
Again....I was speculating on their thought process. I didn't say I wanted anything. I just said I hope they aren't done. If you are itching for a gotcha moment tonight. Sorry to disappoint. This is what you said: I dont think they go into the season with McCaffrey as their primary 3. They probably still want a legit 2 and will use Deebo in that Curtis Samuel role.
They still want a legit 2. Thats where i got it from
There is no fence for me. Truly one of the most overrated players…EVER

"wide receiver 2" (WR2) refers to the second most productive or targeted wide receiver on a team's depth chart. Here's a breakdown:What is a good definition of a WR2? If healthy why can't Deebo be a WR2?
RE Lattimore: When he's healthy he's one of the top CBs in the league. With an offseason to recover and a full training camp, he could be much improved. I would still draft or sign a FA CB but this upcoming season will tell us a lot more about Lattimore than last year. He's only 28. he's not washed up.
RE Garrett I want him to be traded for by the Commanders but I don't think the team can count on that. It may even be better to get him after this draft. The Commanders have a great offense but there are other needs beyond Garrett on defense.
Yeah, Keim speculated this could go all the way to the trade deadline because of that. My ideal scenario is to aquire him post June so we can use 29 to trade down and get some picks."wide receiver 2" (WR2) refers to the second most productive or targeted wide receiver on a team's depth chart. Here's a breakdown:
In essence, a WR2 is a vital component of a successful NFL passing attack, unlike the prototypical WR1 he presents fewer problems for defenses providing a reliable target for the quarterback and complementing the team's top WR who presents a game changing presence every time that he plays.
- Depth Chart Position:
- Essentially, it signifies the player who is the second option in the passing game, behind the team's "wide receiver 1" (WR1).
- Role and Responsibilities:
- While the WR1 often draws the toughest defensive coverage, the WR2 still plays a crucial role in the offense.
- They are expected to:
- Consistently catch passes.
- Run precise routes.
- Create separation from defenders.
- Contribute to blocking when needed.
- The WR2 may see a variety of targets, and their role can vary depending on the team's offensive scheme.
- Relationship to WR1:
- The effectiveness of a WR2 can be greatly influenced by the presence of a strong WR1. If the WR1 commands significant attention from the defense, it can create opportunities for the WR2 to make
With respect to the Commanders Terry McLaurin can be designated their WR1, but is far better suited and dangerous as a WR2. Deebo can be designated as their WR2 but is far better suited and dangerous as a WR3.
Hope this helps.
