I have never been a DHALL guy but he's been playing really good football over the last year and a half.

Yes! D-Hall has been balling for the last year and half. He's pretty much contained every big named WR, this year. He contained Dez Bryant, Brandon Marshall, and Damaryius Thomas. He kept Megatron to 117 yards, but I don't think all of his seven catches were on him. That pick Hall made in front of Megatron was phenomenal. On the other side, I have been impressed with Amerson. I have been intrigued with this guy, pre-draft. I was so happy that he was drafted. In fact, I knew he'd be a Redskin for some reason. I like his size and ability. He's only going to get better.

So what happened to Minnifield and why are they not giving him a look? Everyone was so high on him in preseason, clearly the coaches saw something we didn't. I would really like to be able to use our draft picks on other areas (like safety, OL, and ILBs) and start to get some hay out of our young guys that we have under contract already. Remember, not only do we have minefield, but Crawford will be back. DHall and Wilson both are playing better this year. I think we re-sign one of them for the next 3-5 years to help groom some of our young guys. We also have Biggers who has played OK. I actually think we are fairly set at CB if we can get some growth out of either Minnifield or Crawford. Of course, if Talib fell into our laps..............

Admittedly, hall has played well.

If he can continue to play well for the rest of the season, then he might deserve a similar contract for next year.

He will not get a better offer somewhere else, considering his age and reputation.

we can use 3 cbs when its all said and done so it doesnt rule out minniefield or crawford at this point .

and who knows what will happen in FA so other problem areas could already be addressed by then

i like tall , fast cbs who are versatile . and if the best player on the board at a particular round is a CB who meets what i like we should grab him .

remember , minniefield is on the PS , could fans be over rating him ? not saying they are . it isnt written in stone that we can retain a hall or wilson

when Hall first came over from Oakland I thought he was going to be another over payed primadonna

but over the years I have really grown to respect both his game on the field and how he sets the example for the younger players

Like Santana he became more Redskin than anything else. Glad we had both guys.
