The Tennessee Titans and Kansas City Chiefs are reportedly in the midst of finalizing a trade that would send star wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins to Kansas City.

The news comes from ESPN's Adam Schefter. According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Chiefs are sending the Titans a conditional fifth-round pick that can become a fourth-rounder and Tennessee will pick up some of Hopkins' salary. The conditions on the draft pick still need to be worked out, Rapoport notes.

The Chiefs were interested in Kupp but the Rams were not willing to pay part of his salary and they wanted a higher pick.

Hopkins was the right move for them. The wife is ecstatic, she has wanted Hopkins since the middle of last season.

It's hard to tell how much he has left, but he's certainly worth a shot. I don't see him as a direct fit in that Rashee role though. Another arrow in the quiver I guess.
The QB's in Tennessee are why he wasn't playing well....

I don't think the Rams are looking to move Kupp RIGHT NOW, probably a factor as well.

He had a solid season last year with Levis with no other viable targets on the roster (75-1057-7). 15-173-1 this year is disturbingly low, makes me think there is more to it than that. Hope not for Chiefs fans.

Well, they are talking to teams so clearly they have some interest in doing so.

As I stated in another thread, they're laying groundwork for closer to the deadline. The next two games could have them right back in the mix in the NFC West.

It’s like the AFC wants the chiefs to win the Super Bowl again. First the bills, then the titans. Who’s next? Is Cincinnati going to trade them Trey Hendrickson for a conditional 7th and pay 3/4 of his salary?
