I just realized NFL.com didn't list Dak Prescott on their predict the pick thing. They must be racist or something. Not that he's a first rounder (maybe Denver, though), but there were lesser prospects listed like Kessler or Allen.

Yeah, I'll just go with NFL.com is racist.

I did finish high school, thank you very much. Although, ironically, I did have to take summer school after my senior year in English. Not because I was bad at it or anything, just lazy enough to not do a big paper that was too large a portion of the grade to make up by doing well on the little assignments.

Did the same thing in my government/economics class, but the teacher in that class was much cooler. He said that's all right. You're a good kid, I'll give you a C. Best teacher ever.

It could all be stemming from Mayock's mock. He's got them taking Stanley. So as long as mock drafts are usually 99.7% wrong (which seems a modest average for mock drafts), there's a good chance they'll go somewhere else.

There are different mock drafts that have them taking Stanley, Tunsil, Buckner, Ramsey, and probably even Bosa or Jack. Hell, I think one older draft I saw on NFL.com had them taking a QB in the 1st round. The only choice that matters is the Chargers, gotta wait and see.....which sucks. I think Buckner can give them a DL that can be good(or at least above average) against the run and put more pressure on the QB. Or Ramsey can give them a great secondary with help in the run game and hopefully paired with a DE in the 2nd give the Chargers a good defense.

Another note to screw my mauck draft; Peter King reporting "no way" Ryan Kelly slips out of the top 20. I don't even know who Ryan Kelly is.

The draft is taking too long to get here. I'm gonna do a "mock" mock draft:

1. Rams - Cody Kessler - get the local guy, he's got the home stadium familiarity advantage.
2. Eagles - Cardale Jones - they love the sportshoopla induced McNabb comparisons and the commitment to football shown by his "ain't come to play school" tweet.
3. Chargers - Jaylon Smith - injury be danged, he's a top 5 talent.
4. Cowboys - Emmitt Smith - they like a running back whose name starts with E, rumor has it that it's Cowboy hall-of-famer Emmitt Smith.
5. Jaguars - Jared Goff - quote from random unnamed Jacksonville exec in the draft room, "he fell this far? Let's get him." Wisecracking intern, "But we already have Blake Bortles." Unnamed Jax exec, "Who?"
6. Ravens - A Doctor - gotta keep Flacco healthy.
7. 49ers - Carson Wentz - 49ers draft room goes "we hate Kaepernick!"
8. Browns - Nifae Lealao - Cleveland's so bad at drafting they take a guy that's not even eligible.
9. Buccaneers - Jameis Winston - he's better than the QBs in this draft.
10. Giants - Paxton Lynch - Eli Manning is as old as Peyton. Time to get his replacement.

I'll just do a top 10. It's too stupid to do all 32.
