myers has been killing it the last 2 weeks

yeah, remember hosmer his last month in AAA?

its obvious KC isnt developing bats, so why not trade one for two established pitchers?

dirt

serious question

if the pats win another superbowl in the brady era, what will your thoughts be on him/the team?

additional question

pats have been on a 12 year run where nearly every season they make the playoffs or win the division, or both

has another team in the NFL modern era done anything close to this?

12 year run of basically unmitigated success in a league that prides itself on parity and player movement

"losing playoff games to Sanchez and the Jets is unmitigated success!" -Rock

Aim low, everything else is a pleasant surprise

“WFDF welcomes this recognition to join the Olympic family and we confirm the commitment of the flying disc community to the ideals set out in the Olympic Charter,” stated WFDF President Robert “Nob” Rauch.

meyes is like .820 in AAA, a little power

and that was kinda their point...that you never know...but how the royals needed power more than pitching

Critics of that trade are retarded. Nobody had a problem with it when the Royals were winning. Royals hit a dry spell and suddenly it's a bad trade. Dumb motherfuckers.

He's slugging .471 with a .267 BA, that's not "little power"...10 2b's, 1 3b and 9 HR's...

For a 22 year old in AA? Pretty damned good...

And like Buccs said...he's really starting to heat up...5 HR in his last 10 games...

Okay...I'll dumb it down a bit for you....

Sox won in 2004 and 2007...you have to go back to 1999 before you can say the Yanks have had more success than the Sox...2009, 2000 and 1999...you need to rev up your time machine to the Bill Clinton years, before you get to a timeframe the Yanks have been more successful than the Sox...unless you arbitrarilly redefine success on a moments notice...which...you're about to do...

Wait, the Pats unmitigated success is reaching the playoffs - that 1/3 of the NFL make.
But the Yankees make the playoffs in sport that 1/6 of the teams make double that time frame and they suck?

Pick your argument.

Missing the playoffs 40% of the time is a successful run
Making the playoffs at the same rate as the Astros in the OBAMA years is a success!

Now I get it

If Hosmer and Moose were doing what they are expected to do, the power wouldnt have been a problem.

Hindsight is 20-20. If they could go back and do it again, would they? Who knows. They probably the pitching more than power, and it was cheaper than paying for Lohse, Jackson, Haren, etc, or if they even could.

replace Shields, Davis and Myers still in AAA with Chen and Odorizzi and we are probably still in last place.

He's still sitting in a dark corner curled up in a ball and saying "This is not happening. This is not happening" over and over.

Apparently another detail I have missed.

I saw you leaving in the 8th last night. I had an extra Mets jersey you could have worn...

Dude, their offense for two weeks has been PUTRID - I had Arrested Development to watch

Hey, the guy you call "Moose Tacos"; I think you should start calling him "Moose Feces".
