I've been wanting to give this kid a little praise but kept forgetting to. Just read that he was named co-freshman of the week.

He recorded 10 tackles in the game, but most importantly to me it is what I saw out of him that has me raving. He stuck Toussaint on multiple occasions and planted his ass right back where he came from.

I've gotten so sick of our guys tackling players forward this season, finally a guy comes in and shows some ability to anticipate where the ball is going, and some grit when he meets the ball carrier.

Pretty promising for a Freshman. Excited to see him continue to get better. He has schooled several upper classmen already with just a couple of performances.

I personally love the way the guy sifts through the garbage and meets the ball carrier.

Really does remind me of Lavonte.

He's had a few plays that kind of made me sit back and go whoa... Serious potential.

One could honestly make the argument that he is the most sound tackler we have on the field.....

He doesn't hesitate when he sees an opportunity......he gets low and just sticks guys

Yes, Santos showed me quite a bit of heart, speed, and desire to get the job done.

Another one of those under the radar guys, Jed. Great to see him earn some playing time and show us why we recruited him. Nice to hear his story about hard work, film room, weight pile, and learning from his peers. Versus storming out of practice and quitting because of not being spoon fed a starting slot.
