My how the mighty can fall. Just a few months ago this guy had a pretty darn nice gig on the NFL Network and now is looking at some major jail time.

Winning 1 case is definitely possible. Winning 2 is tough but do-able. Winning 8 is ridiculous to even imagine.

Problem is, in most cases he would see he is looking at Life x 8 - and simply package them all together and take maybe a 20+ year sentence and avoid all trials. Problem with that is - these are stemming from 4 different states. The prosecutors in each state is going to want their own justice.

Because of this fact alone - he may never get out of prison. I'm not even saying he is guilty, because I don't know. I'm just saying I don't think he will ever get out.

That is a definite possibility. If this is some type of set up - sad that it will work. There is no way you are getting 8 juries in 4 states to all say Not Guilty. Not gonna happen.

Even if:

You win half of them; and
You don't get maxed out on any of them; and
The jury finds some sort of middle ground on sentencing in every one that you lose;

He is still looking at roughly 15-20 years on each count that he loses - which won't run together b/c they are in different states. So best case scenario, Best Case, is he gets between 60-80 years.

Not that hard to figure given that his MO was apparently to drug them and do them while they were unconscious. They wake up, knowing they were drinking, not remembering exactly what happened but know that something did. They shake if off as a lesson learned and move on. Then they hear he's busted for drugging and raping a woman and it dawns on them that's what he did to them too. Could some be looking for a payday ? Possibly. But it's not that far fetched that they've all come forward now given the circumstances.

Or years of money!! I knew this creep years ago, that once he found out that his priest was facing charges of ******ation, he lied that he was just for the $$$$. Like those Duke Lacrosse players were and they fired the coach before it went to court. Proven guilty before innocent I guess. Im sure he did this to a few if 8 came forward. I understand that. I agree most likely at least one or two of these stories are true. Any time a celebrity is involved though you have to question the validity of somebody coming forward. There are some who view this as their five minutes of fame. Sucks that it does as unfortunately it makes it hard to trust anybody involved in all of this

I can see some of the women piggybacking for a settlement but not all. Sharper is in serious trouble.

In the Arizona cases, there is actually evidence he drugged the women. One of the cups Sharper used to provide one of the drinks in Arizona tested positive for zolpidem, or Ambien. And the date of the alleged assault that happened in Arizona & the date it was reported to police was 11/21/13. That was long before all this became public knowledge.

These gold digger women today will say or do anything to get the payday....He may turn out to be guilty as can be but, fans have a tendency to rush to judgement without having the facts.....He is innocent until proven guilty beyond any doubt, so give the guy a chance to show his side of the story.....
He was one of my fav analyst on NFL, always fair and with class....Hard for me to believe he would be guilty of these charges......

He is only innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in the court of law. In the eyes of the public or the court of public opinion, he is whatever the preponderance of the evidence suggests he is. And right now, with the evidence of a positive test for date r*pe type drugs found in at least one of the cups so far, he is looking far more guilty than innocent.

Well that should work out well for Sharper then. Once he gets to prison he will get to hang around other rapists who will exert their "power and control" over Sharper and then "force their will" on his dirt chute.

I understand waiting until the verdict comes out. Thing is no matter whether he is found guilty or not his reputation is completely destroyed and he will have trouble finding work again at least like he had with the NFL Network. There are some that can come back from things like this if say he is found Not Guilty on all accounts but they are few and far between. I would say Ray Lewis is the only guy I can think of that went from murder charges to now tv celebrity.
