Ship him out. Shouldn't pay corners as much as Slay gets, let alone what he wants.

He's not doing himself any favors talking. Especially being injured.

I agree, our defense is already garbage, what can trading one of our 3 good players really do at this point?

Might as well toss him away.

Can we trade Fat Matt and Dumb Bob back to NE before they fuck this up for the next two regimes?

Good for him.

Playing for a winner will be fun.

tbh, I don't blame him for speaking out. On the other hand loyalty goes both ways and when you have an existing contract and you hold out from camp that can come back to haunt you. I hope he goes to a playoff caliber team (just like with Diggs)

As long as these two keep thinking they can copycat the Patriots way throughout then they'll find themselves unemployed like most of the rest of Hoodies former assistants. I highly doubt Martha will give them the heave hoe anytime soon though.

He could really improve a number of secondaries. Don't know how many can add his salary though.

I don't blame any player for skipping camp, if they can get away with it.

@There is A Moose at 3rd chimed in yesterday about a possible need and it appears that KC could take on that contract this year and next. What say you Moose ? Where does your depth chart stand if your Chiefs were to trade for "Big Play Slay ?

I was under the impression that Breeland was more in line with nickel/slot and Fuller was outside CB but I didn't pay attention when we played them. There's also the Broncos Chris Harris available which might be a possibility for the Chiefs but inter-division trade seems highly unlikely to me, idk.

I would love to see Slay go to a team like that or even Philly is in dire need of CB's. They have a lot of injuries in their CB group and the young guys like Maddox and Jones have been up and down to date since drafted.

I'd hate to see him go to KC. He needs to win.

BQ signed a 5 year extension. As I said it's like deja vu of the Millen era. The Ford's have never once tried to build a Championship team, they can't blame the fan base for their incompetence.
