Surprised to see this come from anyone on this team. Tony Bennett normally has his players have more of a team mentallity.


Having said that Atkins had a good game while UVA as a whole played the worst game I have seen them play in a few years. I don't know what it is about Sparty that does this to UVA.

I honestly don't see what's wrong here. He's speaking the truth. It's not like he called everyone outfor being a lazy and bad basketball player. He just said he wanted it more than his next team mate. I'm guessing they knew that already.

You don't know what those bridges were like leading up to today. And if he feels like they didn't care as much as he did then he probably felt like they burned those bridges by ruining something he's been working towards for years. It has to be frustrating knowing that people you've sacrificed for and worked your butt of for and had that brotherhood with didn't care about the outcome.

Basketball is a team game. You go down as a team along with a win. You don't publicaly call out your teammates, especially after a season ending loss.
