Losing to UConn baseball isn’t THAT big of a deal.

Now if your coach lost to UConn football....

Darren Erstad was a piece of shit. Ruined Johnny Estrada's career.
Braves manager Bobby Cox said he didn't think it was a dirty play, though he felt Erstad could have avoided the collision and still scored.

"Honestly, Erstad plays hard," Cox said. "He's a great kid and he's a great ballplayer, he really is. I don't know. If he slides, he's safe. The only way he's out in that situation is if he tries to collide with him."

Angels manager Mike Scioscia, who was a catcher during his playing days, said it was a clean hit.

"If you're throwing your spikes up around a guy's neck, if you're throwing a punch at a guy or you're leading with an elbow, I think there's things you can take exception with," Scioscia said. "Ersty's arms were down. There's a gash on his left shoulder where he hit him.

Eddie Perez wanted a piece of him.

I was at the next game. That's still the only Braves game I've ever been to where the entire crowd was booing an opposing player relentlessly, and I went to a couple where Bonds was chasing Hank.

Solid baseball player

So devestating a Midwest team didn't win the world series for the 942nd consecutive time.

It's so inclusive

I believe Atilla was invading the Roman Empire the last time a BIG team won a title

Did NOT see that coming.

Well there ya go @Red_Alert !! Hope you're happy!

I'm happier than a pig in shit right now.

I didn't see it coming either, but figured if Moos would just sit down with pencil and paper (like @jedburks and I), he'd come to the conclusion that Erstad's had more than enough time. Not even Moos could tell me that he didn't plan on letting him go, but let Erstad 'resign with dignity'. Yada-Yada "watch my kids grow up".

I have faith that Moos will bring a coach into this revenue generating sport that can..........

1) Keep our best talent at home.
2) Regularly finish in the Top 3 of the Big 10.
3) Win a Big 10 tourney.
4) Host a Regional or more.
