in 2017 werent they like slightly over midpack in ypa and yards per game? even with healthy wentz they were outside the top 10 in YPA........
So that makes them a dink and dunk offense?

well it certainly doesnt lend credence to them taking and completing deeper passesSo that makes them a dink and dunk offense?

Funny you ignore 2016, 2018 and 2019.Sure wasn't the philosophy in 2017 to have some dink and dunk offense. You should stick to your own team because you're really clueless about the Eagles.

I'll agree I'm not fully up on the Eagles, but with just a little searching it shows neither are you.
oh, a highlight video, i stand corrected....that certainly shows the majority of the 500+ pass attempts on the season, real stats be damned.Does the video evidence lend credence to you?
Everyone that is drafted is unproven at the NFL level.

FYI Ertz was 2nd in Pass Targets by a grand total of 10 targets, and he missed 2 games, so even in the year you're touting as a deep passing year the TE was still the primary target.Personnel in those years. 2018 and 2019 they tried to take shots down the field but just didn't have the WRs for it. You really have no idea what you're talking about. You're easily the most clueless amongst the Cowboy fans on this board.

OK, learn your team.Okay and?

Never said that, now did I?Throwing to tight end = dink and dunk?

No it means BALL Controll, and cuts down on potential Turnovers.
I have no problem with a Ball Control offense, and just by using a Ball Control offense doesn't mean the QB isn't capable of airing it out, but it does put less importance on a bunch of speedy recievers, now that's not saying speed won't help as I was bitching when Dallas never aired it out, because regardless if a deepball is completed or not, if teams know you will go long they have to respect it.
In 2017 teams played Dallas 8 in the box tge majority of the time and Dallas rarely if ever tried to make them pay for it.
As for Phillies "Track Team" if Pederson is going to atay true to himself and keep using short passes to the TEs and RBs there's absolutely no reason to fill a roster with 3 or speed recievers.
Ball control offense? Short passes to TEs and RBs? What exactly are short passes to you?
The Eagles don't run some dump the ball off near the LOS offense (outside of designed screens) that Eli Manning had been running the last few years.
He's throwing mid range passes to TEs and he's throwing to RBs all over the field including Sanders down the field.
Again it's not an offense that is running these quick short passes. It has been an issue with personnel. The wide receivers just haven't been capable of getting seperation down the field and then when they did they weren't able to catch the ball. Wentz was the best tight window QB in the NFL this past season.
The Eagles due to being limited at WR have had to put together these long drives together to score, often filled with picking up mulitle 3rd down and longs on the drive. They have been open about how they want to add an explosive level back to the offense so they can attack teams down the field. They didn't add didn't add a bunch of speed at WR with the intention that every scoring drive is going to remain an absolute grind. This is going to be an offense that will attack teams at all points of the field, short, medium and long.
Also how are you unable to comprehend that an effective deep passing game opens things up underneath for everyone else? You're stuck in this mentality that it's one or the other. Like in your head there are only 10 offensive snaps per game and the Eagles can only use those to either throw to the TEs over the middle of the field or go deep to WRs down the field but they can't do bothm
It's relevant that Dak has also been called the best Tight Window passer, and many, scratch that, MOST Eagles fans say Dak has a noodle arm and doesn't throw down field, therefore your post does absolutely nothing to dispute Pederson runs a ball control SHORT passing game. This is relevant to this discussion how?
