I agree, but the amount of demand on a QB is just insane. I think they deal with more than anybody in sports.

Also true. What I meant by demand is basically taking all the good and the bad of the team and taking the fault for it. Dealing with everyone talking about you all the time. Its just a different animal.

This. Baseball is probably the hardet sport to play (other than golf), trying to hit a 75 mph curveball, then the next pitch could be a 100 mph fastball. Ridiculous!

I love watching good goalie play. I get to watch the most athletic goalie in the NHL when healthy. Pekka Rinne. And it is very tough. Still though, they don't get crucified in the media every week just because of a few mistakes.

True. Not the hardest, but like you said the most demanding (take the most heat).

NHL players have it the toughest. It's a highly skilled sport that requires peak athleticism and a lot of violent contact where punching each other or whacking guys in the shins with a wooden stick is business as usual. And that's with over 5x the regular season games as the nfl has.

But the hardest positions would have to be Goalie (hockey) and Catcher.

Chicago was left off the list on purpose. One night while kinda drunk (in the beautiful city of Chicago), I ask ask a (female) bartender if she was a Blackhawks fan. She did not know who they were. Just one man's experience. Not a good representative for the city. But yes add Chicago, Winnepeg, Calgary, Edmondton and Boston to that list.
