Oh smoke isn't going to a 4 car team?

Newman wants to go somewhere he is wanted. He definitely doesn't gush over Tony like he used to. Quicken Loans is going wherever Newman is going, and it sounds like Newman and Harvick may be just swapping rides.

The Pepsi 400 never sells much and the Kentucky race was moved so that always causes attendance issues. Kentucky is a cool track though. I wish they ran there more.

Smoke just confirmed that SHR will not have 4 teams next year, and that Newman will not be at SHR next year. Newman ending up at RCR is almost a no-brainer, only unless RCR brings Austin Dillion to the show, and then I could see Furniture Row expanding to 2 teams and bringing Newman in to team with Kurt.

I like Kentucky. I'd rather have 2 races there instead of Loudon or Michigan or Pocono. Hell give up Vegas or Cali or Kansas. That wouldn't bother me either. Of course I'd rather see Darlington get it's 2nd race back but that's not happening, so ......

I like Austin Dillon but I think another year in the minor leagues would benefit him. I don't think he's ready for that cheese.

My friend used to work for RCR before getting a job at Henrick & Turner Motorsports. He says that the Dillon brothers are a bunch of spoiled brats that only know how to drive. He says they don't know the first thing about mechanical things or about hard work. One day, Richard Childress told Ty Dillon to sweep around the shop to earn his keep, and Ty started pouting around the shop like a little girl.

Sounds like a lot of these new drivers. Very few hard core, gritty drivers, who can turn a wrench, or know what makes their car go left out there. I swear, I think they cherry pick these guys based on their marketability (pretty face, articulate, squeeky clean) not their racing skills and background.
