I would agree if Bailey had a track record of making long FGs. But he doesn't.

Confidence is one thing but why try a very long FG and put you D right back after the O went 3 and out? Garrett gave them a short field and they capitalized on it.

In a 7-7 ball game, you punt the ball there. Harris gave us good field position and then the offense failed. Instead of taking advantage of the situation, we gave field position right back to SD instead of pinning them deep. It just completely defeated the purpose of Harris' return and it's not like we have a FG kicker with a track record of making long kicks. Sometimes you have to play a field position game, and the Cowboys had an advantage and gave it right back to SD. Now it's a 10-7 game.
