I hope so. Safeties dont seem to be valued and this will be proven if thornhill or rapp still on the board. I prefer thornhill because he is fast and has instincts.

Wait... if a position isn’t valued as high as other positions they go later? Tell me that can’t be.

We both know how talented he is. He would be a great backup for zeke. I think we can wait to the 5th for him.

The mocks have him going 6 or 7. Brice Love is another RB that has been going lower than I think he should in mocks.

I haven't been watching too much of the draft coverage, is anyone talking about where Ryan Finely, QB from NCState is projecting? If he is expecting to make it to the 4th round I'd LOVE for us to grab him. Kid has skills.

Holy Crap, just saw the draft tracker showing that the Raiders picked and next to it it showed it was traded from Dallas and I misread it that Dallas traded up with the Raiders and grabbed Abrams and got excited...now I be all...:pout:

TE went #8 overall. Doesn't mean TE is one of the most valued positions. Just means a team loved this kid and thought he could help more than other players

I thought it very funny the Lions took TE that high - the team that ran previous highly drafted TE Ebron out of town, then couldn't field an adequate replacement for what they thought was an average player. Knee jerk after knee jerk.

Not sure who I want more right now....I want to help the defense - Safety or DL, but man there are two good OL left and some big physical WRs that could do damage all over the field.

Agree. Lots of talent on the board. The only thing that would disappoint me is I just saw a 2nd round mock with us taking RB. I've always been BPA, but I hope we don't do that (and don't think we will)

I want BPA. If I weigh in needs I'd stack needs as S, DT, doesn't matter past that.

I think when looking at needs those are obviously the tops. I put safety #1 after our offseason moves because I think if we draft a safety he is a week 1 starter if he pans out. I think if we draft DL he is a rotation guy this year unless we really luck out

I got my fingers crossed that rapp, thornhill or maybe adderley will still be there at 58. I am not against trading up a few spots to make sure we get thornhill. I just have a feeling that these three are going to get scooped up before pick 58. Then what?

Chauncey Gardner from Florida if there would be a nice pick at 58. I like his game

I think there are a lot of players out there that can help us so I'm not too hung up on position even though I have my hopes. For instance, not sure why we can't grab another CB too and just play one safety in the nickel and dime. Iloka should be fine on run downs IMO. As a matter of fact we already should have been doing that and getting Heath off the field for Lewis more. Plus, as long as this team refuses to start Lee at SAM we are still looking for a starter there. I wouldn't love seeing us go there at 58, but as long as we get someone who contributes I don't really care. Fingers crossed of course though that teh ideal situation happens and BPA and need intersect at safety when we are on the clock tonight. If so, I'll a whiskey and smile when it does...:hope:

I'm not definitely not in the Trade Up camp. Sit and take BPA.

I agree. If there is a guy out there that the team had rated as a first rounder and it is a position of need then I'm fine trading up. But they need to love the guy. Otherwise I just stand pat and pick my board. Seems half the time when you are patient the guy drops anyway

Interesting. I posted a while back the opposite after reading it from Broaddus that McClay wanted Watt and the coaches wanted Taco, now he is saying McClay was high on Taco and not that he was trying to talk the coaches into Watt

I dont know how a team, the Eagles, can move up in the first and not give a second to do it.

I was disappointed that Savage was selected in the first round. I thought he might slide into the second.
